The protests against President Trump's travel ban on visitors from seven predominately Muslim countries continue, even as federal judges have stepped in to temporarily halt the president's executive order. These images are from two candlelight vigils held over the weekend. One was in front of the Lincoln Memorial and other was one that started at the Islamic Center of Washington and ended at the Naval Observatory.

We love the change of pace in protest imagery -- from the sometimes angry and vocal protestors who come out to voice their opposition to the new president's policy to these images that are more solemn, and in a way more powerful.
Life in metro Washington, D.C. as chronicled by the area's photographers.
